PJ Huser, These folks are the most knowledgeable people I’ve had the pleasure of doing business with. Wes has probably forgotten more information about speakers than most people will ever know. Several years ago I brought in a pair of woofers from some Paradigm 9se speakers for repair. The surrounds had detached from the cones. Wes glued them but told me he didn’t like the way they glued up and was afraid they might sound different. He told me to try them and if I liked the sound send him $20, if not - have a nice day. Long story short I ended up replacing the woofers. Seriously, who gives that kind of excellent customer service these days? He (and his son?) re-foamed and restored my speakers, restoring their original vintage sound. It only took a week in my case. Wes and his son love vintage audio. Rich Keith, Brother, can you Paradigm? That was my question and Wes came to the rescue and fixed up my beloved and musical Paradigm subwoofer. I brought it in and Wes installed a new surround, and 2 new filter capacitors (replacing those which he tested as too low in value). I picked it up after a couple of days. Brian Young, Had a 1969 Celestion speaker that was damaged in shipping. Cone was rubbing and some particles were scraping inside. Wes cleaned it out and re-aligned the cone and it sounds amazing! Highly recommended! Rating 5/5

Dan Lunecki, I tried the DIY foam ring replacement on a 2003 Lexus / Mark Levinson 6" sub in the back box. While my repair visually looked OK, the speaker still rattled so I took it to "Dr. Wes". Wes glued the spider to the frame and cone to coil, plus re-aligned the coil and re-glued everything. Works as good as new! Thank you Wes! Rating 5/5

Cihan Yaz,Well, here is my story! I have a pair of Sonus Fabers with Seas drivers , One day I have noticed left driver was getting distorted, and did not think it could be fixed , took it out and dropped with Wess. Mean while I was shopping for a replacement pricing around $300+ , well Wess called me in 2 days that it was ready, I can not believe the fact it actually sounds better than it ever was. Frank Ford, I have a pair of CS-C9900 Pioneer speakers. The mid-range dust cap needs replacing and the woofer is not working in one of the boxes. I called for an appointment on a Saturday and TexaSound took the time to talk me through the possible issue or issues and estimates. Brooks Mosher, Experts in not only speaker repair but in audio reproduction and engineering. If you want your speakers refurbished or repaired by the best in Austin, take them to Texasound. I highly recommend them!! I took my KEF 104/2's in for repair and they ended up recapping the crossovers and restoring the bass drivers. Now every single time I listen to them they amaze me with how absolutely incredible they sound. You don't know how good your older or vintage loudspeakers can sound until you have Texasound refurbish them. Rating 5/5

Lee Roitberg, For over 20 years I have been going to Wes for speaker repair and recone services. When it was time to recone eight Altec 416 woofers for a project, there was only one person to do it. Robert Hittle, KEF 104/2. I had Texasound re-ferro fluid tweeters, replace foam woofer surrounds and refurbish the crossovers. The work performed was of high quality, they were very knowledgeable about speakers in general and these in particular. Locally no one had ever seen these in person and did not want to work on them. Once back together I have been thoroughly satisfied with the sound and the money it cost to do this work. I bought these new in my twenties, am enjoying now in my fifties and expect another 30 years of beautiful sound. Rating 5/5

I brought him my pair of inherited Acoustic Research AR9 speakers and he completely refurbished the crossover network with new Japanese caps, rebuilt the tweeters, and re-foamed all of the woofers.
